Hey {{first_name}},
I hope you’ve had a great month. Here’s what we’ve been up to at Beat The Block:
BBC radio presenter Sophie Law came to one of the Beat The Block workshops at a local primary school to talk to some of the girls about what they’ve learned and the impact the workshop had on them.
Usbourne books sent us copies of ‘Football Skills’ a book Naomi professionally advised on to help make sure it was inclusive and representative of young girls throughout the country!
Girls from our workshops and coaching sessions were invited to be mascots at the Oxford vs Real Bedford women’s national league game.
And we have an incredible new ambassador joining the team… professional football and relentless goal scorer for Newcastle and Jamaica Shania Hayles!

Last summer Beat The Block started out as an idea and now not even a year later young girls who have experienced workshops and coaching sessions and wearing their very own tshirts and being apart of experiences they won’t forget.
It’s easy to get lost in the pursuit of something bigger and forget to appreciate the difference you’re making along the way.
Thanks for being here and believing in the mission.
