I hope you had a great March! Here’s what we’ve been up to this month:
We kicked off the month with an incredible International Women’s Day event by Gregory Surveyors, who generously gave all funds raised to BTB and the mission. (A massive thankyou to Lou for organising and everyone who donated)
Naomi has been busy, delivering Identity workshops in 5 more primary schools across Oxfordshire as part of our BreakThrough project.
She also went back to her alma mater, The University of Nottingham, to identify and talk to intersectional students about barriers they face participating in sport.
We got accepted for our first official grant!
And yet to be announced Naomi has WON the ‘players of the pitch’ Football Black List Award. 🏆
A massive shout-out to Louise Gregory from Gregory Surveyors who has gone above and beyond time and time again to support us!
Beat The Block may be the child of our incredible founder and CEO Naomi Bedeau but as the proverb says it really does take a village. Thanks for being here month in and out, supporting the mission. We wouldn’t be able to grow BTB and continue to make ripples without the likes, comments, volunteers, donations and everyone supporting us along the way!
